A collection of thoughts - by great minds.

A collection of thoughts of a few great minds that I recollect and remind my self -

"What you are not able to do today, you will achieve tomorrow. Persevere and you shall conquer."

"It is not because a thing is difficult that one should give it up. On the contrary, the more a thing is difficult the more determined should one be to succeed in it."

"He who struggles is better than he who never attempts."

"Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius -- and a lot of courage -- to move in the opposite direction."

If I never see you again... :|

The morning light comes stealing
To start a new day
Out there the world is waiting
To take us far away
And its time to make
The final break
But the memory will linger forever

If I never see you again
And think of me now and then
Though it hurts so sweetly
They say all good things come to an end
Youve changed my life completely
Im touched by your love
Even if I never see you again

The night is so unforgiving, yeah
And Im on my own
I realise what Im missing
And now that youve gone
So I say a prayer
Are you out there
Are you feeling what Im feeling now, yeah

If I never see you again
And think of me now and then
Though it hurts so deeply
They say all good things come to an end
Youve changed my life completely
Im touched by your love
Even if I never see you
If I never see you again

And if I never see you again

No one can tell you how the story ends
Where the road will lead
When love begins, yeah

Youve changed my life completely
Im touched by your love
Even if I never see you
If I never see you
Even if I never see you again
And if I never see you
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

A shepherd n his sheep...

A couple of days back when I was on my regular cycling ride in the evening through the Mysore University campus I came across this beautiful scene of a shepherd and his sheep with the sun setting in the background... all the elements were so beautifully placed for a perfect pic that I immediately screeched to a halt and tried to capture this moment as quick as possible before the light fades out. Photography has grown into me as a hobby and I simply love it when I can capture what strikes my imagination. I'm glad that, I managed to take this pic on time and it actually came off pretty well with the sun-light bouncing off the man n his sheep jus like the way I had wanted it to. Yay!!! :D

I'm so jealous...

One day my lil sis came up to me n said she was supposed to write something for her class assignment. The topic was - "I'm so jealous..." Somehow I've cultivated a writing style where I've always been a fan of giving an emotional touch in the end for something I write like for things like these. Anyways cutting the self-praising crap short :P here's my attempt at it...

"The evening sky, the cool breeze, a wet road, and the green leaves, I sit by the window sipping my coffee, engrossed in the beauty of what I see. Vibrant are the roadside flowers and studded like diamonds are droplets on grass. I feel a feeling, a tickle in the head, when I see her dance, merrily and so colourfully dressed. She flutters her wings, flapping her way to me, as if beckoning “why don’t you dance with me?” I strike a smile and wheel myself closer to the window, a tear runs down when I realise I can never place my feet on the ground below. She waits for me, hoping for my reluctance to cease. She circles around and flutters away along with the gentle breeze. I wish she could know why I couldn’t be ‘just me’! Oh god! Please let her not misconstrue my inability to join her as though I’m so jealous of her glee."

I came in here with hardly any expectations about the lil town of Mysore. We were starting our design firm here, but choosing Mysore to be the place for it was something that just happened. This town reminds me of my childhood memories of my dearest Bangalore city. Green cover on all roads, people jus goin about their own work, comparatively lesser traffic, actually hardly anything when compared to how Bangalore is now.... I love this town! There's everything that I ever wanted from the place I'd be living in... hills, lakes, river, peace! I actually love cycling here... its so much fun... but alas, I hardly find any cycling enthusiasts here like in Bangalore. I havent been able to go for my photography expeditions around the city yet though, which I plan to do anytime soon... in fact I havent photogrpahed in a while now... guess its been too much of work and living in the office for long hours thats been the reason...
